Bahá'ís are part of a worldwide religion
which dates back to the mid-1800's. Our roots are African, European, Asian,
Latino, and Native American. We are teachers, actors, engineers, students, homemakers,
children, and retired folks. We come from every economic class and every educational
background. In spite of our diversity, we are united in the belief that there
is only one God, that all the world's religions represent one changeless and
eternal faith of God, and that all humanity is one race, destined to live in
peace and harmony.
